RESTRICTION SUMMARY: APAwire CLIENTS ONLY SHOTLIST: APAwire - APAwire CLIENTS ONLY, Russia- 24 June 2023. Shmel hand-held flamethrower becomes formidable weapon in hands of soldiers of Ivanovo Airborne Troops STORYLINE: The soldiers of Ivanovo airborne troop regiment are perfecting their flame-throwing skills in the area where they are recovering their combat readiness within the special military operation. Flamethrowers of the biological and chemical defence company of the Ivanovo airborne troops do not sit idly by and constantly improve their skills in combat operations in the area of restoration of combat readiness. Personnel are constantly practicing their actions both in defensive and offensive operations, as well as combat firing of Shmel rocket-propelled anti-personnel flame thrower at specified targets. Unit commanders constantly monitor the actions of their subordinates to help them make the right decision in any situation that may arise on the battlefield. Each soldier spends more than 30 hours at the firing range, which improves the effectiveness of combat firing of rocket-propelled anti-personnel flame throwers. The results of combat operations in the special military operation area show that training exercises increase the level of training and reduce the time for practising combat knowledge in real combat conditions.
