STORYLINE: Dozens of residents of the town of Burqin in the city of Jenin participated in a stand in solidarity with the prisoners who have been on hunger strike for months. The speakers at the stand called for more popular movement and solidarity with the prisoners, especially the hunger strikers, stressing that what is happening against the prisoners inside the occupation prisons in terms of administrative detention is contrary to all international norms. The speakers also called on all international, humanitarian and human rights institutions, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and free people of the world to assume their responsibilities regarding the systematic injustice to which prisoners are exposed in order to undermine their dignity.
