Israeli released Palestinian prisoner Thaer Halahleh, in the West Bank city of Hebron STORYLINE: Yesterday, Monday evening, the Israeli forces released the prisoner Thaer Halahleh, from the town of Kharas, northwest of Hebron, a member of the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine. The Israeli forces had released the prisoner Halahleh at the "Al-Jib" checkpoint near the city of Ramallah, after a 14-month prison sentence. It is noteworthy that the editor, Halahleh, is a father of three children and suffers from several diseases, most notably hepatitis, and deliberate medical neglect was practiced against him by the administration of the Prisons Authority in previous arrests and he went on hunger strike in the jails, in refusal to administrative detention several times. He is a former prisoner who spent 14 years in the Israeli jails. Footage by APAwire
