Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas responded to an appeal to treat the freed prisoner Mansour Al-Shahatit, and demanded that the Ministry of Health provide him with the necessary treatment immediately.

The Israeli authorities released Al-Shahatit from the town of Dura in the Hebron governorate on Thursday, after spending 17 years in Israeli prisons.
