STORYLINE Hundreds of Palestinian protesters took to the naval border fence in northern Gaza near Zikim Beach on Tuesday to participate in a protest organized by the International Committee for Breaking the Siege on Gaza.
Many attempts have been made throughout the years to draw the public's attention to the ongoing siege of the Gaza Strip whether via ships attempting to sail into or out of Gaza.
Palestinian maritime protests have been suspended for weeks, under a previous Israeli-Hamas truce agreement. However, Palestinians in Gaza have started demonstrating around the issue again as Israel's siege on the coastal enclave becomes increasingly more restrictive.
