Palestinians take part in a protest in solidarity with prisoners on hunger strike in Israeli jails, in the West Bank city of Ramallah on August 30, 2022. The prisoners’ committee, which represents all the factions, has decided to embark on the protest steps after the IPS reneged on understandings reached with the prisoners in March and told prisoners serving life terms that it is going to start making life more difficult for them by constantly changing their rooms and sections, and transferring them between prisons.
