In a recorded speech from Ramallah, Minister of Local Government Majdi Saleh stressed the need to distance the local government sector from the repercussions of the political division, referring to the government in Ramallah allocating a group of contributions to the municipalities in the southern governorates. Saleh said that these allocations come in the context of the duty to support the local government sector, which is the basis for preserving the societal fabric, regardless of the intensity of the political dispute.
