A file photo taken on February 8, 2018 shows wounded and disabled Palestinians take part in a protest against the siege on the Gaza Strip, at Erez crossing, in the northern Gaza Strip. Gaza’s Hamas rulers announced on Sunday their security forces are in full control of the Palestinian side of the Kerem Shalom and Erez crossings with Israel after the PA border employees have “refused to cooperate” with the new measures. In a statement, Gaza Interior Ministry spokesman Iyad al-Bozm says Hamas security forces are carrying out “necessary security measures” at the crossing “especially after the recent events in the Gaza Strip.”.
