Palestinians try to make their way to attend the third Friday prayer of the holy fasting month of Ramadan in Jerusalem's Al-Aqsa mosque, after Israeli police prevented them from crossing to pray, in the West Bank city of Bethlehem on June 1, 2018. Ramadan is sacred to Muslims because it is during that month that tradition says the Koran was revealed to the Prophet Mohammed. The fast is one of the five main religious obligations under Islam. Muslims around the world will mark the month, during which believers abstain from eating, drinking, smoking and having sex from dawn until sunset. Photo by Wisam Hashlamoun
