Families of Palestinian martyrs wait at the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and the southern Gaza Strip, on September 17, 2015, as they head to the annual hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia's holy city of Mecca. Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has issued orders to host 1,000 Palestinians from martyrs' families to perform Haj this year. According to the Muslims holy book the Koran, the Kaaba was built by Abraham and his son Ismael, after Ismael had settled in Arabia.
