Palestinians who had been prevented from crossing through Kalandia checkpoint toward Jerusalem, use a ladder to cross over the separated barrier wall in Al-Ram town, north of Jerusalem, to attend the first Friday prayers of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, at al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem's Old City, 19 June 2015. Muslims around the world celebrate the holy month with prayers and readings from the Koran as they fast from eating, drinking, smoking and all sexual relations from dawn till dusk.
