A Palestinian protester hurls back a tear gas canister fired by Israeli forces during clashes following a demonstration to mark the 67th anniversary of the "Nakba" in the village of Kfar Qaddum, near Nablus, in the occupied West Bank, on May 15, 2015. "Nakba" means in Arabic "catastrophe" in reference to the birth of the state of Israel 67-years-ago in British-mandate Palestine, which led to the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians who either fled or were driven out of their homes during the 1948 war over Israel's creation.
