A Palestinian man holds his national flag as Palestinians plant olive trees to mark Land Day during a symbolic ceremony held in the village of Abassan, east of Khan Yunis near the border fence between Israel and the southern Gaza Strip on March 31, 2015. On the annual Land Day, demonstrations are held to remember six Arab Israeli protesters who were shot dead by Israeli police and troops during mass protests in 1976 against plans to confiscate Arab land in the Galilee.
