Egyptian security forces sit on a military vehicle as they patrol the al-Haram street, in Cairo on January 30, 2014. An Egyptian militant group affiliated with the Islamic State has claimed responsibility for coordinated and simultaneous attacks Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015 that struck more than a dozen army and police targets in three towns in the restive Sinai Peninsula, killing at least 26 security officers.
