Palestinians men dressed in Israeli soldiers and prisoners uniforms are seen during a performance scene in a protest to express solidarity with Palestinian prisoners on hunger strike in Israeli jails, in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip on May 23, 2014. In late March, Israel had refused to release as promised a last group of Palestinian prisoners, and announced plans for 700 new settlers homes, prompting the Palestinians to then seek to join 15 UN conventions.
