Man of the Samaritan Community looks as eight-day-old baby undergoes circumcision during a traditional circumcision ceremony atop Mount Gerizim, above the West Bank city of Nablus, May 05, 2014. The ritual of circumcision is traditionally performed on the eighth day after a male baby's birth in accordance with the Torah. The Samaritan religion descends from the ancient Israelite tribes of Menashe and Efraim, and the community nowadays numbers around 700 people, half of them living in a village in Mount Gerizim, near the Palestinian city of Nablus.
