The gateway of Rafah crossing is seen as it closed at the border between Egypt and Gaza Strip in Rafah town, southern Gaza Strip, 21 May 2013. Over 2,000 Palestinians were stranded on 19 May on the Egyptian side of the border with the Gaza Strip, after Egyptian policemen kept it closed for a third straight day. The Rafah crossing with Egypt is the only gate to the outside world for the Israeli-blockaded Gaza Strip. Photo by Ali Jadallah
