Palestinian medics carry a wounded man during clashes next to the Israeli military prison 'Ofer' in Beitunya, south of the West Bank city of Ramallah, on February 24, 2013 following the death of a Palestinian prisoner held in Israel. Some 3,000 Palestinians held in Israeli jails were staging a one-day hunger strike in protest at the death of the inmate Arafat Jaradat, an official said, as security forces clashed with demonstrators in the West Bank.
