Palestinian Presidential guards carry flag-drapped coffins containing the remains of Palestinian militants during an official ceremony at the President's headquarter in the West Bank town of Ramallah, 31 May 2012. Israel handed over the remains of dozens of militants to the Palestinians, saying it hoped the 'goodwill gesture' would help restart peace talks. Exhumed from enemy cemeteries in Israel, 79 were transported to the central West Bank city of Ramallah and 12 to the Gaza Strip, for reburial in their respective hometowns. The ceremony was attended by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. Photo by Issam Rimawi
