Palestinian women shout slogans during a demonstration for the release of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails outside the Red Cross offices in Gaza City on April 23, 2012. At least 1,350 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israel are observing an open-ended hunger strike, the Israeli Prisons Service said on April 22, after another 150 inmates began refusing food to protest the conditions in which they are being held.
