Palestinians hold posters of Hanaa Shalabi, a prisoner who spent 43 days on hunger strike, as they wait to greet her near the Erez border crossing between Israel and the northern Gaza Strip on April 1, 2012. Shalabi, who had begun her hunger strike after being arrested on February 16 and held without charge, was deported by Israel to the Gaza Strip under a deal that has been criticised by Palestinians.
