Islamic Jihad activists protest after the Friday noon prayer in support of Khader Adnan, a fellow Palestinian senior militant held in an Israeli prison without trial and who is on hunger strike since December 18, on February 17, 2012 in Gaza City. Adnan has been on hunger strike longer than any Palestinian prisoner before him according to Palestinian officials, to protest what he calls his unjust detention and mistreatment by Israeli authorities.
