Palestinian friends and relatives celebrated the groom, Mohamed Gouda 24 years old, in the Rafah refugee camp, southern Gaza Strip on the eve of his wedding on Sep. 16, 2011, during the traditional celebration, Gouda was first taken by relatives and friends through the Rafah's streets to the house of his bride's family to take his bride to their new house. Although Palestinian people keep celebrating family events as usual, as Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said on Friday he would demand full membership of the United Nations when he goes to the U.N. General Assembly next week, setting up a diplomatic clash with Israel and the United States. Photo by Abed Rahim Khatib
