Journalists and bodyguards stand in the Cairo court room as defendants are kept behind bars, including Egypt's former Interior Minister Habib el-Adly, seen behind bars 3rd left, during their trial on charges relating to the killing of nearly 900 protesters during the 18-day uprising that toppled president Mubarak from power in February 2011, in Cairo, Egypt, Monday July 25, 2011. The court decided Monday to combine the trials of Habib el-Adly along with the ousted President Hosni Mubarak, and the hearing was broadcast live by state television, allowing millions of Egyptians to see el-Adly and his co-defendants in detention for the first time.
