Palestinians hold pictures of their jailed relatives during a rally, one of several taking place across the Israeli occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip, calling for the release of Palestinians being held in Israeli jails, as they mark Palestinian Prisoner's Day in Gaza City on 17 April 2011. Some 5,500 Palestinians are held in Israeli prisons according to figures compiled in February 2011 by Israeli human rights group B'tselem. For more than 20 years, Palestinians have marked April 17 as Prisoner's Day. Photo by Mohammed Othman
