Palestinians celebrate in Jerusalem's old city on the second day of Eid al-Adha
Palestinian butchers collect the skins of animals which were slaughtered on the first and second day of Eid al-Adha for reuse in the southern Gaza Strip twon of Rafah, Nov. 18, 2010. Muslims worldwide celebrated Eid al-Adha, or the Feast of the Sacrifice on Nov. 16, by sacrificial killing of sheep, goats, cows or camels. The slaughter commemorates the biblical story of Abraham, who was on the verge of sacrificing his son to obey God's command, when God interceded by substituting a ram in the child's place..
