An Orthodox Jewish family gathers around their tent where they will spend the night, outside the Tomb of the Patriarchs, traditionally believed to be burial site of the biblical Patriarchs Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and Matriarchs Sara, Leah and Rebecca, in the West Bank city of Hebron, Friday, Oct. 30,2010. Organizers expect thousands of Jews to converge on the West Bank town of Hebron on Friday for the Sabbath in order to celebrate and read the weekly portion of the Bible. This week's portion relays the Biblical story of the Jewish Matriarch Sarah, the wife of Abraham who is buried in a contested shrine in Hebron. Some Jews site this portion of the Bible as proof to Israeli sovereignty over the shrine. The Israeli government is upset over a recent UNESCO decision that refers to the site as a mosque - and rejects the Jewish connection to the Tomb of the Patriarchs, known to Muslims as the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron .
