Palestinians enjoy a day on the beach of Gaza sea on July 18, 2009. Some 100,000 Palestinian youths are attending various camps during the summer holiday with activities ranging from religious lessons to swimming, horseback riding and campfire gatherings in the evening. Since Hamas' takeover of the Gaza Strip in June 2007, Israel has sealed Gaza off to all but limited humanitarian aid, crippling the local economy, fueling massive unemployment, and stalling reconstruction efforts.
