Palestinian worshippers wait at the West Bank Qalandiya Israeli manned checkpoint, now integrated into the controversial separation barrier (behind) being built by Israel , as they hope to cross and make their way to Jerusalem on the third Friday of Ramadan. Police and the army will be barring nearly all Palestinians from the West Bank from entering Jerusalem today, as Muslims try to reach the al-Aqsa mosque in the heart of the Old City, the holiest site in the world for Jews and the third holiest site for Muslims
