Airborne Troops' assault units continue their training course in special military operation area STORYLINE: Assault units of the Airborne Troops continue their training course in the southern sector of the special military operation. Experienced instructors teach airborne assault units to capture enemy strongpoint. The curriculum is amplified regarding the real situation on the front line. The airborne assault units headed to the assigned area, neutralised the mock enemy by 120mm 2S12 Sani mortars, and redeployed to the fore front. The personnel were supported by an armoured group with BMD-4M amphibious infantry fighting vehicles, as well as AGS-17 Plamya automatic grenade launchers, and 12.7mm Kord machine guns. Once the units reached the minimum distance, the enemy was neutralised by hand grenades, and eliminated in trenches by small arms. Moreover, the units practised evacuation of a wounded serviceman from the battlefield, and his/her transportation to the frontline medical post by Linza armoured ambulance. One of the most important training elements for platoon and company commanders is guiding the fire of their unit. Commanders practised giving instructions directly on the battlefield, guiding the fight, while each paratrooper knew the task and implemented it to allow the unit to fulfil its common task. The everyday training is conducted amid realistic combat environment, and includes live shooting. All the personnel are about to be integrated into the Airborne Troops' organic units for further operation. Footage by /APA
