RESTRICTION SUMMARY: APAwire CLIENTS ONLY SHOTLIST: APAwire - APAwire CLIENTS ONLY, Gaza- 28 June 2022. Palestinians take part in a protest to show solidarity with prisoner on hunger strike Khalil Awawda in Gaza city 0.1 SOUNDBITE (in Arabic) official of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Youssef Dalloul 0.2 SOUNDBITE (in Arabic) Jalal Basal STORYLINE: Six Palestinian freedom fighters in Israeli prisons are currently on hunger strike to achieve their demands, according to the Palestinian Authority’s Detainees Affairs Commission. Currently, Israel is holding over 500 Palestinians in administrative detention, deemed illegal by international law, most of them former prisoners who spent years in prison for their resistance of the Israeli occupation.
