Protesters carrying flags demonstrate in front of Iraeli soldiers during the weekly demonstration in the West Bank village of Beit Omar , near Hebron against Israel's controversial separation barrier and to mark the 63th anniversary of Nakba (catastrophe) on 14 May 2011. Nakba means catastrophe in reference to the birth of the state of Israel 63 years ago in British-mandate Palestine, which led to the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians who either fled or were driven out of their homes during the 1948 war over Israel's creation.
