Restrictions Summary: APA wire clients only Shortlist: APAwire - APA wire clients only, Gaza- January 4, 2026. Mohammed Ahmed Nasser, 44, lost his left leg in an Israeli attack in northern Gaza. He is still living with his family in a makeshift tent in the Gaza Strip. Despite his injury, Nasser clings to life by trying to grow and tend vegetables amidst famine and a lack of basic necessities. With shrapnel still lodged in his abdomen and undergoing dialysis for kidney failure, Nasser hopes for improved living conditions, the opportunity to travel abroad for treatment, a prosthetic limb to help him move more easily, and the restoration of his basic rights.
