Restrictions Summary: APA wire clients only Shortlist: APAwire - APA wire clients only, Gaza- May 24, 2026. Palestinian workers continued producing the traditional sweet known locally as "Halakum" at a factory in the Al-Daraj neighborhood, east of Gaza City, on May 24, 2026, ahead of Eid al-Adha. The factory resumed operations with limited resources after sustaining damage from Israeli airstrikes during the war. Halakum is a traditional sweet widely consumed during holidays, and the factory strives to provide it to residents despite the difficult living conditions and sharp decline in purchasing power in the Gaza Strip before Eid al-Adha. 01. Sound (Arabic): Youssef Shuhayber, a worker at the factory 02. Sound (Arabic): Zuhair Al-Sousi, a worker at the factory
