RESTRICTION SUMMARY: APAwire CLIENTS ONLY SHOTLIST: APAwire - APAwire CLIENTS ONLY, Russia, 27 August 2023. Paratroopers undergo combat training in rear area of special military operation zone STORYLINE: In the rear area of the special military operation zone, commanders of Airborne Troops units hold classes on tactical, firearms and medical training with personnel who have left the front line to restore combat capability. This is to ensure that paratroopers do not lose their combat skills during their time off in the rear area. The curriculum is amplified regarding the real situation on the front line. The military personnel improve their actions when moving on the battlefield in pairs and triples. Frontal movement with live firing, where soldiers move along the line of contact with the enemy from cover to cover, covering each other, is constantly practised and brought to automaticity. One of the most important elements of fire training for platoon and company commanders is the management of unit fire in combat. When practising, the unit is placed in pre-arranged positions where each paratrooper knows his task. On the command, riflemen enter the battle with the task of destroying the advancing enemy infantry, supported by armoured vehicles. Footage by / APAwire
