STORYLINE: The Central Military District’s Ka-52 attack and reconnaissance helicopter crews destroyed armoured vehicles and a stronghold of Ukrainian nationalists in Krasny Liman direction within the special military operation. Upon receiving target coordinates, pilots of Ka-52 attack helicopters set off on a combat course at a speed of about 250 kilometres per hour. Using the Vikhr-M anti-tank missile system, the crews hit enemy armoured fighting vehicles with pinpoint accuracy. In addition, the S-8 unguided aerial missile is used to defeat manpower and area targets, such as enemy strongholds. The missiles are launched with the execution of the pitching-up technique.
