The head of the National Relations Department in the Hamas movement, Zakaria Abu Muammar, announced that “his movement affirms the national position of all on the necessity of holding local elections under the supervision of the Central Elections Commission.” Those attending the consultative meeting stressed the necessity of holding elections for local bodies in the sector, under the supervision of the Central Elections Commission.
