RESTRICTION SUMMARY: APAwire CLIENTS ONLY SHOTLIST: APAwire - APAwire CLIENTS ONLY, Gaza - 3 August 2022. Palestinian boy Bashir Al-Ayoubi, 11, plays on flute at the studio in Gaza city. 0.1 SOUNDBITE (in Arabic) Bashir Al-Ayoubi 0.2 SOUNDBITE (in Arabic) Abdel Azim Al-Harbawi STORYLINE: The flute is a family of classical music instrument in the woodwind group. Like all woodwinds, flutes are aerophones, i.e. they make sound by vibrating a column of air. However, unlike woodwind instruments with reeds, a flute is a reedless wind instrument that produces its sound from the flow of air across an opening. Flutes are the earliest known identifiable musical instruments, as paleolithic examples with hand-bored holes have been found. A number of flutes dating to about 43,000 to 35,000 years ago Footage by /APA
