RESTRICTION SUMMARY: APAwire CLIENTS ONLY SHOTLIST: APAwire - APAwire CLIENTS ONLY, Beit Hanoun- 17 October 2022. donkeys are seen at a farm in Beit Hanoun, in the northern of Gaza Strip. 0.1 SOUNDBITE (in Arabic) Livestock saler, Hani Al-Nadi 0.2 SOUNDBITE (in Arabic) Citizen, Mohammad Ali STORYLINE: Livestock salers said that the Israeli occupation authorities prevented the import of donkeys into the Gaza Strip on the pretext of smuggling them to Egypt for slaughter and exporting their skins to China for use in the manufacture of cosmetics. Gaza’s 2-million population remains under “remote control” occupation and a strict siege, which has destroyed the local economy, strangled Palestinian livelihoods, plunged them into unprecedented rates of unemployment and poverty, and cut off from the rest of the occupied Palestinian territories and the wider world.
