Palestinian mourners carry the body of Ahmed Atef Daraghmeh, 23, killed during clashes with Israeli forces in the town of Tubas in the West Bank. 0.1 SOUNDBITE (in Arabic) Mother of Ahmed Atef Daraghmeh. STORYLINE: A general one-day strike has been declared in the occupied West Bank city of Tubas in mourning of the slain Palestinian youth Ahmad Daraghma, who died from very serious wounds resulting from Israeli army gunfire in confrontations in the northern West Bank city of Nablus. Mahmoud Sawafta, a Fatah official, said that the Israeli forces don't care if "Palestinians are young or old," and that the Israeli army target anything and anyone Palestinian. Daraghma, a soccer player with the Thaqafi Soccer Team of Tulkarem, was hit by live rounds in the back and feet, while 24 others were wounded. The confrontations erupted when a sizable army force swept into the eastern part of Nablus to provide protection for settlers who stormed Jospeh’s Tomb. Footage by APAwire
