RESTRICTION SUMMARY: APAwire CLIENTS ONLY SHOTLIST: APAwire - APAwire CLIENTS ONLY, Nablus, 23 February 2022. Palestinian students walk to their schools from the main road in al-Lubban al-Sharqiya village, south of Nablus city, in the West Bank 0.1 SOUNDBITE (in Arabic) Aisha Al-Noubani, Director of al-Lubban School STORYLINE: Israeli forces and settlers Wednesday morning assaulted Palestinian students on their way to school in al-Lubban Ash-Sharqiya village, south of Nablus city, according to local sources. Dozens of rampaging Israeli settler fanatics today attacked the village of Luban ash-Sharqiya, in the West Bank province of Nablus, and obstructed access of Palestinian children to their school in the village, according to witnesses. Attacks on education by Israeli military forces and Israeli settlers in the Palestine constitute grave violations of children’s rights to education and development. These attacks are particularly prevalent in the most vulnerable areas of the West Bank – Area C, H2 and Jerusalem.
