Palestinian demonstrators clash with Israeli forces following a protest against Jewish settlements, in Burqa village, in the West Bank city of Nablus. STORYLINE: Israeli forces today sealed off the entrances to Burqa village, north of Nablus city, according to a local activist. Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors colonial settlement activities in the northern West Bank, said that Israeli soldiers used bulldozers to block the roads leading to the village with earth mounds, disconnecting the village from Jenin and Nablus cities. Israeli severely restricts Palestinians’ freedom of movement through a complex combination of approximately 100 fixed checkpoints, flying checkpoints, settler-only roads and various other physical obstructions.
