RESTRICTION SUMMARY: APAwire CLIENTS ONLY SHOTLIST: APAwire - APAwire CLIENTS ONLY, Hebron - 24 November 2021. Relatives of Palestinian prisoner Hisham Abu Hawwash who has on hunger strike for 100 days sit next to his photo at home, in the West Bank city of Hebron. 0.1 SOUNDBITE (in Arabic) Emad Abu Hawwash, brother of Hisham. STORYLINE: Two administrative detainees remain on hunger strike including Hisham Abu Hawwash, who has been fasting for 100, and Loai Ashqar, who has been fasting for 45 days, awaiting a deal that would also secure their eventual release. Israel’s widely condemned policy of administrative detention allows the detention of Palestinians without charge or trial for renewable intervals usually ranging between three and six months based on undisclosed evidence that even a detainee’s lawyer is barred from viewing.
