Protest for press freedom in Tunisia

Tunisian journalists and human rights activists hold a protest in support of press freedom at the Kasba Square in Tunis October 13, 2022. Protesters carried banners and chanted slogans defending the democratic right to a free press and condemning restrictions on the press by the Tunisian government. Reporters Without Borders (RSF) has expressed concerns of a setback for press freedom in Tunisia, following Tunisian President Kais Saied's consolidation of power in July 2021.
