October 13, 2022, Tunis, Tunisia: Tunis, Tunisia. 13 October 2022. Tunisian journalists and human rights activists hold a protest in support of press freedom at the Kasba Square in Tunis. Protesters carried banners and chanted slogans defending the democratic right to a free press and condemning restrictions on the press by the Tunisian government. Reporters Without Borders (RSF) has expressed concerns of a setback for press freedom in Tunisia, following Tunisian President Kais Saied's consolidation of power in July 2021.
