Palestinian labourers work at a quarry in the West Bank village of Taffouh near Hebron, 08 March 2017. According to the Palestinian Union of Stone and Marble, the stone and marble sector is considered to be one of the most significant and most active industries in Palestine. This sector contributes approximately 25% to Palestine’s overall industrial revenue and 4.5% to the total Palestinian GNP. All researchers agree that the Palestinian stone is distinguished for its type, quality and diverse colours. Photo by Wisam Hashlamoun
