Palestinian protesters hurl stones at Israeli troops during clashes near the border between Israel and Central Gaza Strip east of Bureij on October 17, 2015. At least 40 Palestinians and seven Israelis have died in more than two weeks of unrest, which was in part triggered by Palestinians' anger over what they see as increased Jewish encroachment on Jerusalem's al-Aqsa mosque compound.
