Palestinian protesters run for cover during clashes with Israeli security forces near the Erez border crossing between Israel and northern Gaza Strip on October 13, 2015. A wave of stabbings that hit Israel, Jerusalem and the West Bank this month along with violent protests in annexed east Jerusalem and the occupied West Bank, has led to warnings that a full-scale Palestinian uprising, or third intifada, could erupt. The unrest has also spread to the Gaza Strip, with clashes along the border in recent days leaving nine Palestinians dead from Israeli fire. Photo by Mohammed Asad
