Palestinians carry the body of Kareem Hamad during his funeral at Beit Hanoun on the northern Gaza Strip March 12, 2014. A blast in a second-storey apartment killed Hamad and other two militants belonging to a small Jihadi group. The exact cause of the explosion was not clear, but the Hamas Interior Ministry said the blast could be "an internal" incident, suggesting explosives that were in the house had detonated. The Israeli military said it was not involved. Photo by Ashraf Amra
