A Palestinian protester lies on the ground after being allegedly hit by a rubber bullet during clashes with Israeli soldiers as Palestinians gathered to mark the anniversary of Land Day in Qalandia which lies between Jerusalem and the West Bank city of Ramallah on March 30, 2012. Land Day marks the annual event that commemorates the deaths of six Arab Israeli protesters at the hands of Israeli forces during mass demonstrations in 1976 against plans to confiscate Arab land in northern Israel.
